Life is full of suffering, much of it man made. The list is long ...wars, religious fanaticism, climate change, over population, rising sea levels, land and sea pollution, water shortage, mass animal cruelty, corrupt corporate power - etc etc etc worldwide.
Governments are aware of it all. They meet and talk - and talk - and talk - and little is ever seriously done.
And now some say we have reached the deadline where we must do something worldwide. Others say we have passed the point of no return and it 's all too late.
Personally I think we are a bit too late. Our technology has advanced but we haven't. Over the past 5000 years we are still making the same old stupid mistakes, what ever society or religion we are.
We need to change ourselves, our thinking, our diet, certain cultural traditions. We need reformation.
From where I sit one of the most urgent matters is the horrific pollution and water shortage caused by the meat industry. That's additional to bad health caused by modern meat production and the daily mass cruelty to billions of animals.
