Your body's gone but you're still here,
Sitting close with me awhile,
Being my friend, my one most dear ,
And giving me your loving smile
Our dear Bonsai died today, Christmas Eve. held in my wife Sue's arms. She was a much loved member of our family. She was very old.
Bonsai joined us as a Mini Foxy puppy and soon established herself as the "manageress" of the house in that she controlled any other pets who were out of order.
She was full of caring love for everyone and highly intelligent. There has never been a human born who could outdo her love and devotion and the way she cherished all life around her.
The loss of a dog is particularly hard because no other animal loves and protects you more than a dog. We weep in sadness but we cherish our memories and will never forget our dear little lady.
Oh that more could open their eyes and see the beauty that is in animals. All - from a mouse to a elephant - are beings of love, with feelings and emotions.
