you told me to sit
an I'm still sitting here
since you drove away
it seems like a year
i miss you so much
and I'm starting to fear
cos it's dark and I'm cold
and I dont know it here

and cuddle me tight
i'm sitting and waiting
and I'll wait all night
I cried as I composed this poem - cried for the many poor creatures abandoned like garbage and who often end up being put to sleep. I curse all those who abandon animals and fail to find more humane solutions, those who buy animals as pets and later dump them like used toys.
Please Please do not buy a pet unless you will keep it and love it for Life. And when you get a pet try to adopt or foster one that has been abandoned and save a life.
