IT"S TIME FOR CHANGE

If there's a hell it's man made here
Where sadness lives and so does fear
Where man reigns as superior
Destroying as inferior
All other life so dear

You might think in a violent and cruel world that most young people are violent and future generations may be even more so.

I don't believe this is true and still see love, goodness, morality and compassion in young people, enough to last a very long time - if we encourage it.

In a world of global warming, water shortage, over population, the cruel unnecessary slaughter of billions of animals annually, pollution of land and sea - the young need a cultural rethink.

We should help them appraise the situation for they and their children will have to live - or die - with the consequences.

The world needs new free thinking generations with new concepts - that care about the future.

So far all societies, religions and governments have created a hell on earth for all life and shown great disrespect for this planet. We have walked down the wrong road for thousands of years.

It is time to change our path and attitudes. Because something has been done for a long time does not make it right.

Killing each other and other animals is morally wrong and we will not advance as beings until we realise this. We also need to respect Earth and Nature and take responsibility for keeping a clean balance. Progress should be in finding the right balance, not exceeding it.

It's been said three species become extinct every hour of every day. It is our species that is causing it. At the present pace, it may eventually become our turn.

Let's use our education systems to open young eyes to the truth and help them stop the cruelty and destruction that has been Man's tradition.

Let the media override advertising revenue from the meat industry and spend more time helping Earth instead and fighting pollution.

Let governments and religions cease their hypocrisy and truly support no killing of all life forms. Let them preach compassion and punish cruelty.
