HAVE A NO MEAT DAY

Eating meat means killing animals and other living creatures and eating their dead flesh. It's horrible cruel slaughter but every day people relish the taste of meat without a thought for the suffering caused to the creatures they are eating.

An estimated 60 Billion creatures are killed annually worldwide to settle meat eaters appetites. The way these animals are force grown and cruelly treated is shameful as is the way they are slaughtered. In some places they are beaten to death, in others they have their throats cut while still alive.

We don't have to eat meat. According to several reports from the United Nations we can be healthier not eating it.

So why not try a no-meat day - or two.

Not only will you be helping reduce animal cruelty and exploitation, you'll also  be helping save the planet.

Meat production worldwide causes more planet damage, water wastage and climate change than anything else. (Also confirmed by the United Nations)

If we stopped eating meat just for one day it would save billions of gallons of water, crops...and many other things.

There are so many other lovely things to eat and they are better for you. Discover a new world of eating that does you and the world good.

Give it a go. Have a no meat day
