Incredibly governments are in various ways the biggest killers of animals, bird life and sea mammals in the world.
For example, I signed a petition asking Canada to save polar bears. But Canada offers them no protection.
In fact Canada allows tourist hunters to kill them for $60,000 a pop.
Also the Canadian Government does nothing to save poor polar bears suffering and drowning because of the ice warming or because there is no food around because man man has screwed up the planet.
This is all additional to Canada's horrific mass killing of seals, wolves and other wildlife. As with the bears, money profiteering is involved.
Then there is the Japanese Government that turns a blind eye to the constant dolphin killing in Taiji, Japan and still allows whale hunting.
The arrogant Japanese have ignored world opinion asking them to stop it because they make big money from murdering and butchering harmless dolphins. The way they kill the dolphins is gross and cruel.
The Japanese fishermen say it's tradition but that's bullshit. They are doing it for money. They sell the meat and the best dolphins are sold live to Sea World-type businesses around the world.
All over the world governments are guilty of great animal injustice and cruelty.
In China they torture bears to get their bile, eat dogs and cats which they boil and skin alive, throw live animals to tigers and lions in theme parks just for entertainment and still China has no animal welfare or animal protection laws.
Several nations still eat dogs including Vietnam, Korea, Thailand, Philippines and some African countries - and their governments let them.
In the West factory farming accounts for some of the worst animal cruelty the world has ever seen. Some 60 Billion cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses and poultry are cruelly tortured and slaughtered annually.
More than 3000 farm animals die every second in slaughterhouses worldwide.

Australia is the world's biggest exporter of live cattle and sheep which causes many deaths and suffering to animals on the long journeys to other countries - but the Australian Government has done nothing to stop live export although the majority of Australians demand it.
Governments worldwide need to show compassion and higher moral standards and start revising their animal protection laws. They needs to protect all animals and to punish offenders severely.
Governments and politicians could well benefit from making such moves because surveys show most people want it and it can bring them votes.
We humans will never advance morally or spiritually until we stop this mass killing of our fellow beings. Each one of us needs to respect and protect all life. Then we may have more respect for one another.
