One of the vilest forms of farming presents itself to us daily in advertising and news media as a clean, hygienic, health giving industry set amidst green pastures where kindly smiling dairy farmers who love their cows produce diary products like milk, butter and cheese.
The terrible truth is that the dairy industry is a baby killing industry. It keep cows pregnant to produce milk but does not let their baby calves have the milk. Instead it kills them or uses them for veal.
There is nothing nice or pure about the dairy industry.

A cow's natural lifespan is about 25 years but in the dairy industry they are killed after four or five years. By the time they are killed 40 per cent are lame because of intensive confinement, filth and the strain of pregnancy and milking. The dead cows'bodies are turned into soup, animal food or low grade hamburger meat.
Behind the clean, smiling farmer, green meadows advertising image of dairy farming is a dark world of horror, cruelty and murder. The food industry hides this horror from consumers. If you saw it you would not want to be part of it.
